Tony winner Lillias White and Tony nominees Veanne Cox and Nancy Dussault will join the cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore on January 4, 2012 at off-Broadway's Westside Theatre. The trio will appear in the show through January 29. Further casting will be announced shortly.
White earned a Tony Award for The Life and an additional nomination for Fela! White's other Broadway credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cats and Once on This Island. She also received an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lillian Edwards on Sesame Street. Cox earned a Tony nomination for Company. Her other Broadway credits include A Man of Free Color, La Cage aux Folles, Caroline, or Change, The Dinner Party and Smile. Her film credits include Erin Brockovich, You’ve Got Mail and Big Eden. Dussault received Tony nominations for Bajour and Do Re Mi. She has also appeared on Broadway in The Sound of Music, Into the Woods and Side by Side by Sondheim.
Based on Ilene Beckerman’s best-selling book, Love, Loss and What I Wore opened in October 2009, and features a rotating cast of female stars. Directed by Karen Carpenter, the play will begin its first national tour on January 3 starring Emily Dorsch, Daisy Eagan, Sonia Manzano, Loretta Swit and Myra Lucretia Taylor.
